> Marley Waterproofing Triumphs at National Roofing Awards The £2.9 million contract saw the re-roofing of a number of courthouses nationwide, including St Albans, Bedford, Oxford, Reading, Dartford, Horsham, Hastings, Hove, Epping and Witham. Due to the work being carried out over occupied courtrooms where noise and disruption would not be tolerated, the roofing contractor, Facilitas CFR utilised bespoke solutions for each courthouse, including Marley Waterproofing's cold applied high performance felts and POLIMAR liquid roofing system. The company was also shortlisted in the Refurbishment Above 250m2 Category for its work on Chester Hospital's Maternity Unit in Liverpool using Marley Waterproofing's high performance roofing membranes. This was another project where the building was in constant use, delivering important services to the local community and the roofing contractor Weatherproofing Advisors had to carry out the project with extreme sensitivity to the surroundings. Beth Barber, Marketing Manager at Marley Waterproofing, said; "The FRA Awards are a key event in the flat roofing calendar and we are proud to receive these accolades. Ensuring our products are used on high quality projects is at the heart of our business and we strive to deliver products and systems for a rapidly changing market place. " "Both projects
demonstrate our products versatility and compatibility with projects
where disruption and distraction need to be kept to a minimum. Her
Majesty Court Houses was an exceedingly demanding re-roofing project,
which was successfully completed by the careful and appropriate selection
of the products used and the excellent teamwork from all members of
the supply chain. Chester Hospital equally had a specific set of objectives
and worked with Marley Waterproofing to deliver these."
