Marley Waterproofing is again demonstrating its commitment to innovation and product expansion with the introduction of two new membranes for use as underlays for tiled or slated roofs.

Working in partnership with Don & Low - the UK's foremost manufacturer of construction membranes - Marley Waterproofing has developed RoofTX - a breather membrane - and UltimaPR, a lightweight high resistance pitched roof underlay.

RoofTX is a triple layer, UV stabilised laminate which, although highly permeable, still retains excellent resistance to water penetration.

RoofTX allows the passage of water vapour, thus preventing condensation build-up within the roof construction which can cause harmful decay. RoofTX can be installed with confidence in all cold or warm roof applications and is ideal for use when fully supported by insulation at rafter level.

UltimaPR is a high performance, two layer, UV stabilised laminate designed for traditionally ventilated pitched roofs. It is a lightweight underlay, clean and easy to handle, and has outstanding strength and tear resistance

RoofTX comes in a choice of 1 or 1.5 metre x 50 metre rolls and UltimaPR in a 45 x 1 metre roll.

Both RoofTX and UltimaPR have been introduced as part of Marley Waterproofing's continuous programme of meeting the changing needs of the industry. During 2004 the company successfully launched two major new lines - Quikflo, an advanced torch-on system and Polimar, a complete liquid applied system.

RoofTX and UltimaPR are just the first of a range of innovative new products being launched this year, explains Commercial Director, Nigel Dickinson.
