IKO Group are pleased to confirm that on 11th July 2006, IKO UK Ltd completed its acquisition of the Waterproofing Group PLC, which trades as Marley Waterproofing.  As previously announced, the planned acquisition was subject to approval by the Office of Fair Trading in the UK. On the 4th July 2006, the Office of Fair Trading confirmed that the proposed acquisition would not be referred to the Competition Commission and accordingly published its formal clearance of the acquisition.

IKO UK Ltd are pleased to welcome all of the employees of Marley Waterproofing into the IKO Group. IKO UK Ltd believes this will further strengthen and consolidate their position within the UK market and represents further investment by IKO Group in the UK.

Marley Waterproofing realise sales turnover of £20m and employ some 85 personnel in the manufacture and sale of roofing and waterproofing products in the UK
