news > Marley Waterproofing Sets the Pace

Marley Waterproofing has had a whirlwind first half of the year, with a complete rebrand, numerous product launches and a focus on marketing and promotion to communicate the developments.

Bethany Barber, Marketing Manager, explains "2005 has been about reassessing our customer offer and ensuring that our product range meets the requirements of all our customer groups. We have also responded to the increase in demand for alternatives to hot works and have delivered a cold applied and liquid applied offering, as well as a new 3 in 1 application single ply product"

Here, the recent developments have been summarised so you can see at a glance how Marley Waterproofing has strived for growth and further enhancement of its customer service.

At the start of the year, the new Marley Waterproofing brand was born. The new logo and corporate image moved to the distinctive blue and white styling, presenting an up to date look which demonstrates the company's strategy to move forward and be innovative.

Early into 2005 the company launched a major drive to expand its share of the liquid waterproofing and single ply market, offering technically advanced and innovative products. The POLIMAR range of liquid applied roofing systems was specifically developed to provide a high level of protection to flat or pitched surfaces. Apply3 is a three-applications-in-one multi use polymeric single ply membrane. Apply3 provides a single product solution for all standard single ply applications - mechanically fastened, adhered and ballasted.

In the spring, Marley Waterproofing launched a new generation of British Board of Agrément (BBA) approved underlays for pitched roofs. The introduction of the RoofTX and Ultima products is the result of extensive research and development undertaken in partnership with Don & Low - the leading producer of sheet fabrics for the construction industry.

Supastik is the new cold applied self adhesive roofing system from Marley Waterproofing. Launched at the end of July this product provides a high quality alternative to hot works. Bethany adds "An increasing number of contractors choose to use cold application techniques now and Supastik meets that requirement perfectly"

And as we head into the autumn, Marley Waterproofing's pace is not set to slow down.
